Frequently asked questions
GENERAL EVENT QUESTIONS
WHAT IS THE WINE SPECTATOR SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION?
Education has always been a primary goal of Wine Spectator magazine. Proceeds from the NY Wine Experience support the Wine Spectator Scholarship Foundation, which provides grants and scholarships to a wide variety of wine-related and culinary programs. To date, more than $20 million has been raised, made possible by the generosity of vintners around the world, who donate the wine for the Wine Experience Grand Tastings and seminars, as well as the thousands of wine lovers who attend the event each year.
Most recently, the foundation made a $250,000 donation to José Andrés’ charitable
organization, World Central Kitchen, to feed and support front-line health care workers
and Americans who have lost their jobs due to COVID-19 including restaurant workers.
WHAT DOES A COMPLETE WEEKEND PACKAGE INCLUDE?

COVID-19 QUESTIONS & REGISTRATION TRANSFERS FROM 2020
I TRANSFERRED MY 2020 REGISTRATION TO 2021. HOW DO I FIND MY NEW REGISTRATION?
If you previously registered for the 2020 event, you should have received a new confirmation email for the 2021 event from Wine Spectator (email@example.com) with a new Registration Confirmation for the 2021 event. Please check your inbox and spam folder. If you still have trouble locating your new registration confirmation email, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will be happy to assist you.
WHAT PRECAUTIONS WILL THE EVENT BE TAKING TO ENSURE THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF ATTENDEES?
Completion of a COVID-19 Vaccination or proof of a negative PCR test within 72-hours prior to the event will be required to attend the event in 2021. In addition, we will be reducing the number of Weekend Packages and Grand Tasting tickets sold to ensure a less crowded environment. More details about vaccination/PCR test verification and additional precautions being taken by the event and the Marriott Marquis will be shared closer to the event.
